ABOUT

Z-Tech is a consulting business specializing in project/program management, business development, intellectual property management and opto-mechanical engineering.
As a Program Management Consultant I managed the successful development, delivery and demonstration of a rapid DNA analyzer-on-a-chip system for forensic biometrics applications under contract to Microlab Diagnostics, a UVA/Lockheed venture, and the IP development of an IED neutralization technology through patent application. Additionally, I performed an on-orbit, root cause analysis of the ISS CATS instrument for NASA GSFC to determine instrument failure causality and potential ISS safety impacts. I also led an R&D effort for a Boeing Phantom Works contract to develop an intrinsically safe, fiber optic, fuel sensor for a high priority military aircraft utilizing polymer optical waveguide technologies.
